JANET Partner Agreement
This is the proforma text of the JANET Partner Agreement (JPA Issue 1). Besides the main body of the agreement, it contains schedules which amongst other matters define:
- service levels;
- how JANET(UK) and the RNOs work together (the "JANET Delivery Team");
- how the regional network is funded by JANET(UK) for day-to-day operation and upgrades;
- how the RNO uses the JANET brand when delivering JANET services.
JPA Operational Documents
The JPA references a number of "Operational Documents". These are reference documents relating to technical and other operational detail in the running of the regional network. At present these are:

JPA Operations Manual
The "Operations Manual" is a good-practice guide written for staff within regional networks. It is designed to assist them in ensuring that the regional network is operated to the standards specified in the JPA. It is not in itself a contractually binding document. It is maintained by the JANET Delivery Team.
Development of the JPA
The JPA was developed by JANET(UK) and a team from the UK MAN Manager's Group (UKMMG).
